Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an elevator car door prying preventing device preventing a passenger in a car from prying open the car door of a running elevator.
CONSTITUTION: A clamp 29 is fitted to a hanger 2 rotatably centering on a fulcrum shaft 13, and one end of an interlocking rope 8 is connected to the upper section of the clamp 29. A latch is integrally molded at the upper end of the clamp 29. A rack 11 formed with grooves to be meshed with the latch is fitted to a car by bolts 12. The lower end of the clamp 29 and the hanger 2 are connected by a pull spring 15. When the external force is applied to a car door 1 in the direction of an arrow B while the car door 1 is fully closed, the clamp 29 is pulled in the direction of an arrow A by the interlocking rope 8. When the force of the arrow B becomes larger than the force of the arrow A, the clamp 29 is rotated centering on the fulcrum shaft 13, the clamp 29 is meshed with the groove of the rack 11, and the car door 1 is not opened further.
