Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent damage of a surface plate, inoperative door, stoppage of operation of an elevator due to heated expansion by direct solar radiation.
CONSTITUTION: An upper beam 22 and a lower beam 23, formed in L-shape and positioned with the outside of one of its sides faced upward, are fixed on the rear surfaces of a surface plate 21, bent inward in roughly recessed shape in cross-section, at both the upper and lower ends of the surface plate. A heat radiation plate 24 which is opened at one side and formed in rectangular shape in cross-section and the opened side of which is bent inward is fixed vertically between the upper and lower beams 22 and 23.
