To provide an emergency alarm system on the street which is modified to properly facilitate countermeasures to actually generated various conditions, and to improve its utility.

The emergency alarm system on the street is provided with a report device 1, a controller 30 and an accepting device 50. The report device 1 includes a voice input/output means, a speaker image acquiring means and an alarm sound generating means, generates an alarm sound according to an operation in emergency, and is provided with functions of performing reporting, communication and image transmission to an emergency report destination. The controller 30 is provided with a report device collectively managing means, a voice acquiring means, an image acquisition control means and a communicating means. The accepting device 50 is provided with a means for acquiring, displaying and recording communication data such as a voice or image data by accepting the report from the report device. Furthermore, the report device 1 is provided with at least either a function for automatically stopping the alarm sound generating means or a function for controlling the stop of the sounding of the alarm sound through communication from the accepting device 50.
