To provide a disposable emergency birthing bassinet used in global scale which is to be transported to a given place in an unassembled form and to be assembled on site.
This bassinet 10 is almost flat in the non-assembled form and constituted into a three-dimensional box structure for storing an infant by bending its sides and end portions 16, 18, 19 and 22. This bassinet includes a warming and cooling pack 32 to be actuated by a user for warming or cooling the infant and also includes an instruction leaflet 42 on assembling methods of various components and using methods expressed in appropriate words or intelligible pictorial symbols by illustrations. The embodied mode for developing districts includes clean birthing kit 44 containing various components to maintain a clean environment during the birthing of the infant. The embodied mode for developed districts may be provided with a temperature-measuring device 34 and a timing device 38.
