Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable crew to surely escape from a travelling body when a trouble occurs underwater so as to remarkably enhance the safety.
CONSTITUTION: A travelling main body 1 having a travelling body capsule 2 on the upper part is incorporated in its upper part runs along a pair or rails which are laid extending from the land into the underwater. A locking groove 16 and a movable hook 17 are cooperated together so as to hold the travelling unit body 17 and the capsule 2 integrally with each other, and are adapted to release the holding therebetween upon an emergency. The body 1 and the capsule 2 are coupled together by means of wire 26, and a fluid fin 22 for limiting the degree of pay-out of the wire 26 is arranged in the body 1.
