Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition containing a specific copolymer, exhibiting O/W-state before application to the skin, converted to W/O-type after the application, free from the problems of the O/W-type and W/O-type emulsions and having the advantages of both emulsions.
SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) an olefinic unsaturated carboxylic acid-alkyl (meth) acrylate copolymer and contains an oily component emulsified in an aqueous component in an O/W-state. Preferably, the composition contains the component A and further (B) emulsified particles of an oily component emulsified in O/W-state, (C) a W/O-type emulsifying agent emulsified in O/W- state, especially methylpolysiloxane-cetylmethylpolysiloxane-poly(oxyethyleneoxypropylene)methylpolysiloxane copolymer and further (D) an O/W-type emulsifying agent.
