To provide an ending device for pneumatically connecting two thread ends, with a device for applying a liquid to splicing air, which includes a splicing head and a splicing passage having at least one compressed air suction opening, and is improved to be compact-size and realized in a simple form to surely perform ending for troublesome threads and prevent excessive contamination in the area of the ending device.
This ending device 10 includes at least one suction opening 33, 46 connected to negative pressure sources 41, 44. A splicing passage 20 can be directly loaded with negative pressure through the suction opening 33, 46, whereby surplus liquid reaching the splicing passage 20 with splicing air through a compressed air suction opening 34 during a splicing process can be discharged from the splicing passage 20 before outflow.
