Abstract:
To provide an endless polyimide belt which realizes lowering of firing temperature and shortening of firing time, prevents deterioration in film quality by imidaization reaction, and has characteristics such as full strength, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the belt.
In the endless polyimide belt obtained, by imidizing a polyamic acid composition comprising at least a polymer including a polyamic acid structure, a tertiary amine and a solvent, a remaining amount of the tertiary amine after imidization and firing is 1-5 wt.% of the initial addition amount and the remaining amount of the solvent is ≥5 wt.% of the initial addition amount.
