Abstract:
PURPOSE: To combat endoparasites in human, domestic animals and pet animals by using an open-chain hexadepsipeptide.
CONSTITUTION: This compound is represented by formula I (A is H, an alkyl, aralkyl, an aryl, acyl or the like; R1, R3 and R5 are each H, a 1-8C alkyl or the like; R2, R4 and R6 are each H, a 1-8C alkyl or the like; R7, R8 and R9 are each H, a 1-8C alkyl, a 3-6C cycloalkyl or an aralkyl; B is OH or a 1-4C alkoxy) and their optical isomers and racemic isomers. The compound of formula I is prepared by reaction of tetradepsipeptide of formula II with didepsipeptide of formula III in the presence of a coupling agent and a basic reaction auxiliary agent in a solvent. Pathogenic endoparasites as tapeworms, trematodes, nematodes or Acanthocephala can be effectively combatted to reduced diseases, death or performance reduction as in the quality or production of meat, milk, wool, leather, eggs and the like).
