Abstract:
PURPOSE: To combat endoparasites in human, domestic animals and pet animals by using an open-chain tetradepsipeptide.
CONSTITUTION: This compound is an open-chain tetradepsipeptide represented by formula I (A is H, an alkyl, aralkyl or an acyl; R1 and R4 are each H, a 1-8C alkyl, a 3-6C cycloalkyl or an aralkyl; R2, R3, R5 and R6 are each H or a 1-8C alkyl; B is OH, a 1-4C alkoxy, NH2, a mono- or dialkylamino, an arylamino or the like) and their optical isomers and racemic isomers. This compound is suitable for combating pathogenic endoparasites in human, breeding animals, domestic animals, pet animals, zoo animals, experimental animals and the like. Pathogenic endoparasites as tapeworms, trematodes, nematodes or Acanthocephala can be effectively combatted to reduce their diseases, death or performance reduction in the products as in the quality or production of meat, milk, wool, leather, eggs and the like). For example, the compound of formula II is prepared by reaction of didepsipeptide of formula III with a compound of formula IV in the presence of a coupling agent and a basic reaction auxiliary agent in a solvent.
