PURPOSE: To repeatedly use a resistor sheet plural times and to reduce a running cost by shaping the sheet deformed by an energizing recording from a recording head by using heating and pressurizing means.
CONSTITUTION: When a pulse signal is selectively applied to a recording head 1 in a state that a resistor sheet 2 and an ink sheet 3 are press-adhered to a recording sheet 5 on a platen 6 by the head 1, a current flows to the sheet 2 to generate Joule heat, which is transferred onto the sheet 5. The sheets 2, 3 are intermittently wound in a direction of an arrow when recording is not conducted. The sheet 2 held by a press-adhering spring 16 is always heated, pressurized to be shaped between a hot roller 7 and a guide roller 15 in the meantime, and its sheet resistance is recovered. Thus, the resistor sheet can be used repeatedly plural times to reduce a running cost.
