Abstract:
PURPOSE: To miniaturize a developing device by carrying toner to a part facing to a photosensitive belt without moving a developer carrier and holding the toner on the developer carrier.
CONSTITUTION: The circumferential wall surface of a toner housing part B having a toner discharging port A is constituted of an electrostatic actuator member 3 which carries the toner by the surface. Then, an electrostatic charge roller 4 which discharges the toner while charging it by friction is disposed so as to cover the port A. An aperture for developing C is formed on the upper wall of a case 5 housing the actuator member 3 and the roller 4. By impressing a voltage whose polarity is changed by a prescribed pattern on a driving electrode 32 of the member 3, the electrostatic charge toner supplied to the member 3 is carried by the roller 4 and supplied to the photosensitive belt 1 from the aperture C.
