Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engagement device capable of reducing the number of components and the size while including a pair of engagement members having engagement teeth engaging with each other, one of the engagement member being elastically pushed against the other.SOLUTION: An engagement device 1 includes an annular electromagnet 2 having an electromagnetic coil 211 and a yoke 22 to be a magnetic path for a magnetic flux, an armature 3 constituting the magnetic path together with the yoke 22 and adapted to be moved by the magnetic force of the electromagnet 2, a sleeve 4 having dog teeth 41, a torque limit spring 60 for elastically transmitting the movement power of the armature 3 to the sleeve 4, and a dog piece 5 having dog teeth 51. When the sleeve 4 is moved to the side of the dog piece 5 while receiving the movement power of the armature 3 via the torque limit spring 60, the dog teeth 41 of the sleeve 4 engage with the dog teeth 51 of the dog piece 5 inside the electromagnet 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
