Abstract:
To realize an engagement device switching an engagement state kept by mechanical force to a release state by magnetization.SOLUTION: In an engagement state, as magnetic flux 105 does not flow in a second yoke 20, attraction force by the magnetic flux 105 does not generate between a first yoke B (10B) and the second yoke 20. Thus the second yoke 20 is pressed to an engagement member 30 by a return spring 70, and the second yoke 20 and the engagement member 30 are engaged and connected with each other. When a polarity of a polarity variable magnet 40 is reversed by magnetization, the magnetic flux 105 flows in the second yoke 20, and then returns into a first yoke B (10B) and a first yoke A (10A), thus the attraction force by the magnetic flux 105 generates between the first yoke B(10B) and the second yoke 20. As a result, the second yoke 20 and the engagement member 30 are separated from each other, and the second yoke 20 and the engagement member 30 are disengaged to be a release state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
