Title:
エンジンの燃焼室
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6460156
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
To reduce the cooling loss of an engine.SOLUTION: In a combustion chamber 50 of an engine 1, at least one of a piston top surface 51 and a bottom surface of a cylinder head 11 is a groove-formed surface 56 having a plurality of microscopic grooves 55 formed thereon. A width s of the groove 55 is set in a range of 2-250 μm, and an interfacial flow generation device 60 is extended and installed on the groove-formed surface 56. The interfacial flow generation device 60 is activated at least before a start of combustion of air-fuel mixture to deflect a main flow of gas flowing along the groove-formed surface 56 to a direction of the extension of the groove 55.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
