Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the extent of responsiveness when an engine power control means is electrically controlled on the basis of an accelerator manipulated variable, by detecting the variation of the power control means at the time of giving a specified control signal to this means and changing the control characteristic in accordance with the result. CONSTITUTION:In this controller bearing the above caption, there is provided with a throttle valve actuator 7 which is controlled by a control unit 18 on the basis of an output signal of the like of an accelerator pedal position sensor 19 detecting an operated variable of an accelerator pedal 5 in order to control opening of a throttle valve 6. In this case, at this control unit 18, throttle opening responsiveness to desired throttle opening is detected at the time of specified driving state, for example, when a key switch is in a state of being turned on, and engine is not yet started. When this responsiveness is later than the reference value, it is multiplied by a correction factor (>1.0) so as to increase a modulating ratio, and when it is too speedier than the reference value, it is multiplied by another correction value (<1.0) and thereby the control characteristic is changed.
