To minimize the projection amount of a door handle from an engine hood door when the engine hood door of construction equipment is not opened, and to make the projection amount of the door handle variable from the outside surface of the engine hood door.
The engine hood door 7, attached to the engine hood frame of the construction equipment openably/closably, is constituted of a door handle 16 comprising a handle part 16a and an extension part 16b which is extended and formed at both ends of the handle part 16a and movably connected in the penetration hole 7a formed at the engine hood door 7, an elastic member 20 which is provided to the extension part 16b connected in the penetration hole 7a and positioned to the rear side of the engine hood door 7 for variably adjusting the projecting amount of the handle part 16a from the outside surface of the engine hood door 7, and a fixing pin 23 which is fixed to the end part of the extension part 16b for preventing the door handle 16 from being removed out of the engine hood door 7.
