Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine rotation control unit capable of accurately limiting rotation speed increase without generating torque shock if an engine rotation speed increases and it is necessary to limit the rotation speed increase of an engine to a predetermined rotation speed.SOLUTION: If an engine rotation speed Ne of a single cylinder engine 1 increases to be equal to or higher than 7000 rpm, fuel injection is thinned out by one-third (one out of three combustion cycles is stopped by thinning). If the engine rotation speed Ne increases to be equal to or higher than 7250 rpm, ignition is thinned out by one-third. If the engine rotation speed Ne increases to be equal to or higher than 7500 rpm, the fuel injection is thinned out by half. If the engine rotation speed Ne increases to be equal to or higher than 7750 rpm, the ignition is thinned out by half. If the engine rotation speed Ne increases to be equal to or higher than 8000 rpm, the fuel injection is completely stopped. If the engine rotation speed Ne increases to be equal to or higher than 8250 rpm, the ignition is completely stopped. By doing so, engine output is suppressed step by step to prevent the overspeed of the engine 1 without torque shock.
