Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine work machine capable of restricting the oil content discharged outside to a bare minimum with a simple structure when rainwater flows into the oil proof dike.SOLUTION: An oil proof dike 24 is provided below a casing 14 of an engine work machine 11; and an oil-water separation chamber 25 is provided on a lateral wall 24c of the oil proof dike 24. The oil-water separation chamber 25 includes: a rectangular inclined plate 25a which is inclined upward from a bottom part position where a bottom wall 24a intersects the lateral wall 24c of the oil proof dike 24 toward on the inside of the oil proof dike 24; a pair of triangular lateral plates 25b and 25b which connect both ends of the inclined plate 25a to the lateral wall 24c; a communication hole 26 formed at the center of a lower end part of a triangle pole shape which is surrounded by the lateral wall 24c and whose volume gradually decreases downward and which is communicating with the inside of the oil proof dike; and a cutout part 27 formed at the top edge of the lateral wall 24c which constitutes the oil-water separation chamber 25 for discharging liquid within the oil-water separation chamber to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
