Title:
ENGRAVING MACHINE FOR INNER SURFACE OF RING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006007732
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an engraving machine for an inner surface of a ring, which enables a pattern to be engraved on the inner surface of the ring in such a manner as to have an almost uniform depth in longitudinal and horizontal directions, which can effectively achieve an improvement in engraving quality, and which can be made smaller than ever before by shortening the length of a pantagraph.

This engraving machine comprises: a supporting block 6a which horizontally oscillates the pantagraph 6, suspended by a supporting frame erected on a top surface of a pedestal, in such a manner that a supporting shaft 60 serves as a pivot; an oscillating rod 6b which is longitudinally oscillated by the supporting block 6a in such a manner that a pivoting screw 63 serves as a pivot; a copying arm 6c which is connected to a lower end of the oscillating rod 6b in a vertically oscillatable manner by means of a connecting screw 65; and a cutter arm 6d which is supported by the supporting block 6a in a longitudinally slidable manner, and which is connected midway through the oscillating rod 6b via a connecting pin 66. A tracer 64 is provided at the leading end of the copying arm 6c, and a cutter 7 is provided at the leading end of the cutter arm 6d.
