Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new enol sulfonate derivative useful as a raw material or an intermediate for medicines, agrichemicals, chemicals, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I (R1 is lower haloalkyl; R2 is H, lower alkyl, substitutive aryl or substitutive aralkyl; R4 is lower alkyl, lower haloalkyl, substitutive aryl or substitutive aralkyl), e.g. ethyl 4,4,4- trifluoro-3-methylsulfonyloxy-2-butenoate. The compound is obtained by reacting a compound expressed by formula II with a compound expressed by formula III (X is halogen, OSO2R4 or NPhSO2R4) in the presence of a base (e.g. 4- dimethylaminopyridine), preferably in a solvent.
