To provide an envelope paper which is appropriately transferred by a comb-like transportation roller.
An envelop paper used to form an envelop comprises: a first formation paper 107 of a rectangle; a second formation paper 109 of a rectangle which is connected through the first formation paper 107 and a first folding part 111 in the envelop development direction; and a third formation paper 113 of a rectangle which is connected through the second formation paper 109 and a second folding part 115 in an envelop development direction. The first formation paper 107 and the third formation paper 113 have a leading-end linear part Y formed in a direction SD orthogonal to an envelop transportation direction so that a skew correction is performed by striking of a register roller 30 including comb-like rollers 30a-30f which are formed in a direction orthogonal to the envelop development direction, and a chamfered portions 125, 127 formed on corners which are at end portions in a direction orthogonal to the envelop development direction so that end portions in the envelop development direction contact with the rollers 30a-30f.
