Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance a low temp. curing speed, solvent resistance and fuel oil resistance by adding specific epoxy-functional fluorosilicone and an onium salt photocatalyst.
CONSTITUTION: 0.5-5.0 wt.% of an onium salt photocatalyst is added to linear epoxy-functional fluorosilicone represented by formula I (wherein E is a 2-20C epoxy-functional org. group; R is 1-10C alkyl; R1 is 1-10C perfluoroalkyl and (a) is 1-100) and epoxy-functional fluorosilicone selected from resinous epoxy- functional fluorosilicones represented by formulae II-IV (wherein R2 is 1-10C alkyl and (b), (c) and (d) are each 1-100).
