Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment for inspecting print image which can be realized economically using an inspection method for comparing print data with reference print data on the stage of logical data preceding to print operation.
SOLUTION: Reference data and print data inputted through a data input section 100 are converted into function data and pixel data at a function data converting section 101 and a pixel data converting section 105, respectively. A function data comparing section 103 compares the reference data with the function data being compared and a pixel data comparing section 107 compares the reference data with the pixel data being compared to detect the difference. A data merge section 109 merges the difference data to reconfigure the difference data. The difference data is displayed and the error of print data is recognized.
