Abstract:
To provide an evaluation method of improvement effect of an improved ground which can evaluate strength and rigidity of an improved ground on a bearing ground simply in a short time, in a ground improvement construction.SOLUTION: In a strength evaluation method of an improved ground on a bearing ground 1, a plurality of sets of simultaneous microtremor observations of a reference point P at which depth to the bearing ground 1 is known and an observation point having an interval to the reference point P are carried out at the same observation position on a ground surface before and after ground improvement. From microtremor wave form by the microtremor observation, a Fourier spectrum ratio from the reference point P in each observation set is calculated. Peak cycle difference observed in the Fourier spectrum ratio before and after ground improvement is acquired. Based on a result of numerical analysis separately performed, strength and rigidity of the improved ground are evaluated from the peak cycle difference before and after ground improvement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
