Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a tunnel capable of continuously constructing the small diameter tunnel lining part of prescribed length and the large diameter tunnel lining part having a large diameter whose inside diameter is large than the outside diameter of the small diameter tunnel lining part, while excavating the tunnel by a tunnel excavator.
SOLUTION: An inside tail member 3 is connected to the inside of a tail part of a tunnel excavator 1 to successively assemble a small diameter segments B1 along the inside of the inside tail member 3 so as to be connected, a tunnel excavator 1 is driven by using the pipe jacking reaction force of a pipe jack 4 on the front end face of the small diameter segment B1, after a small diameter tunnel lining part B is constructed by the small diameter segment B1 in the excavated tunnel, the inside tail member 3 is separated from the tail part of the tunnel excavator 1, the front end face of the inside tail member 3 is integrally connected on the outer peripheral rear face of a reaction receiving segment member 8 by bolts, the pipe jacking reaction force of a pipe jack 4 is used on the front end face of a large diameter segment A1 while the large diameter segments A1 are successively connected on the outer peripheral part front face of the reaction force receiving segment member 8 to drive the tunnel excavator 1, and a large diameter tunnel lining part A is constructed on an excavation wall face.
