Abstract:
Provided is an exhaust gas purification catalyst device comprising a base material and one or more catalyst coating layers provided on the base material. The one or more catalyst coating layers comprise a copper ion-exchanged zeolite and an alkali-containing zeolite containing one or more metals selected from alkali metals and alkaline earth metals, and satisfy either a condition (A) or a condition (B). The exhaust gas purification catalyst device: (A) one of the catalyst coating layers contains both the copper ion-exchanged zeolite and the alkali-containing zeolite, and (B) the catalyst coating layer comprises a first catalyst coating layer including the copper ion-exchanged zeolite and a second catalyst coating layer including the alkali-containing zeolite, and the first catalyst coating layer and the second catalyst coating layer are laminated so as to be in direct contact.
