To provide an exhaust pressure controller for an internal combustion engine that holds exhaust pressure constant via simple constitution.
An exhaust pressure control valve 40 and 46 comprises an urging means 50 of an elastic member for urging a valve element 48 of the exhaust pressure control valve in a closing direction in a state that a given initial displacement is imparted.
