Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the exhaust structure for an outboard engine improved in the exhaust gas cooling efficiency thereof.
SOLUTION: In an outboard engine, an engine is arranged over an engine holder, and an oil pan is arranged under the engine holder, and a drive shaft housing 8 is arranged under the oil pan, and the exhaust gas discharged from the engine is discharged into a drive shaft housing 8 through an exhaust passage 26 formed inside of the engine, the engine holder and the oil pan. A bottom surface of the oil pan is provided with an exhaust tube 31 to be matched with a downstream side opening 26a of the exhaust passage 26, and a downstream side and outlet 31a of this exhaust tube 31 is arranged at a nearly central part of the drive shaft housing 8 with a plan view.
