Abstract:
To provide an expandable robot having a structure that can keep an expansion hose as a main body from bending when one wants to straightly expand the expandable hose.SOLUTION: An expandable robot 101 includes: a main body expandable hose 1 having a plurality of mountain-trough parts repeated along an axial direction on an outer peripheral surface, the main body expandable hose 1 expanding via injection of gas and contracting via suction of gas; and a hose housing part 2 for housing the main body expansion hose 1 and expanding the main body expansion hose 1. The hose housing part 2 includes: a base part plate 10 to which a rear end part of the main body expansion hose 1 has been fixed; a tip member 11 provided with a hose projection hole H through which the main body expansion hose 1 projects; and a connection member 12 connecting the tip member 11 and the base part plate 10. The hose projection hole H is formed so as to apply passage resistance to the main body expansion hose 1 by striking of a mountain part 5a of the mountain trough parts at its peripheral part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
