Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll system capable of comfortably scrolling the intended amount of text rows even when the ratio of a total row number to a display row becomes large.
SOLUTION: This system is provided with an input device 1, a data processor 2 and an output device 3 and the data processor 2 is provided with an operation switching means 21 and an extension scroll means 22. In the case that rows are increased by character input or the like from the input device 1 and the ratio of a display row number to the total row number becomes lower than a certain fixed value, the operation switching means 21 displays an enlargement scale scroll bar in addition to a conventional normal scale scroll bar. In the case that the enlargement scale scroll bar is displayed by the operation switching means 21, the extension scroll means 22 performs a scroll processing based on the interrelation of the normal scale scroll bar and the enlargement scale scroll bar and links them. Accompanying the above-mentioned operation, the scroll bar is displayed to the output device 3 and a scroll operation is performed.
