Abstract:

PURPOSE: To raise the safety and operating speed of extension of suspension film by a method in which the peripheral side of a suspension film is fixed to a fixing part, the inside space is closed, air is charged into the film to extend the film, end cables are attached to film hangers and tensed.

CONSTITUTION: A suspension film 2 is set on a given position, and its peripheral side is fixed to a fixing part 3. Hanging cables 5, 51, and 52 are attached to the film 2, and the space surrounded by the film 2 and the fixing part 3 is closed hermetically. While supplying air into the space, the film 2 is lifted up and extended by induction cables. The hanging points of the film 2 are attached to hangers 4, and the cables 5, 51, and 52 are stretched to give tension to the film 2 for stabilizing it.
