Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject external application having whitening effect, sun protection effect and preventing effect to chromatodermatosis such as chloasma with suppressing generation of tyrosinase containing kojic acid (derivative) and specific acids.

CONSTITUTION: The subject external application contains (A) kojic acid or kojic acid derivative having inhibiting action to activity of tyrosinase and (B) acids selected from acetic acids, lactic acids, pyruvic acids, propionic acids, butyric acids and valeric acids having inhibiting action to generation of tyrosinase as active ingredients. Mixing ratio of said active ingredients are A=0.1-3wt.% and B=0.1-30wt.% to total of the external application and a weight ratio of A:B=1:0.1-1:100, preferably 1:1-1:10.
