To provide a reliable locking means for a cable plug in view of a case wherein a fitting connection part between the cable plug and a receptacle terminal of audio-visual equipment such as sound equipment or a television may be detached when excessive tensile stress is applied to a connection cable of the audio-visual equipment and external equipment.

A rib-like projection with cutouts for inserting the cable is formed on the inner surface of a terminal compartment cover for covering a terminal compartment of the equipment, and a thin-walled groove for allowing a part of the rib to be folded in U-shape is formed around each cutout part. Further, peep holes for allowing the confirmation of a connected state inside the terminal compartment covered with the terminal compartment cover are formed in the terminal compartment cover.
