Abstract:

To provide an eyepiece optical system and reflection type liquid crystal display device which can excellently correct the aberration.SOLUTION: An eyepiece optical system comprises: a first lens 11 which is composed of a positive single lens having a convex surface directed to an eye point 16 side and a subject (reflection type liquid crystal display panel 3) side; a second lens 12 which includes a meniscus lens composed of a negative single lens having a concave surface directed to the eye point 16 side; and a third lens 13 which includes a meniscus lens composed of a positive single lens having a convex surface directed to the eye point 16 side. Also, there is provided a reflection type liquid crystal display device including the eyepiece optical system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
