PURPOSE: To provide a fabric destruction device for a fibrous material which can further uniformize the quality of an expanded and softened material (product) and also improve the production efficiency of a product.

CONSTITUTION: A rotating shaft 4 is disposed inside a device main body 1 of almost cylindrical shape with a discharge opening 2 formed on one end and a material feeding inlet 3 formed on an outer wall in the vicinity of the other end. Two lines of tapered screw blades 11 and 12 are formed on the rotating shaft 4. The two lines of tapered screw blades 11 and 12 are formed symmetrically on the circumference of the rotating shaft 4, and a material fed in from the material feeding inlet 3 is pressurized and compressed while being transferred to the side of the discharge opening 2. At that time, the pressure applied to the rotating shaft 4 is balanced on the circumference of the rotating shaft 4, and the rotating shaft 4 is rotated smoothly without eccentricity. The material, therefore, is pressurized and compressed uniformly in the device main body 1.
