PURPOSE: To provide a fastener, a pipe joint and a water catchment pit device having pulling strength high enough for shortening the period of an installation work.

CONSTITUTION: A fastener 1 has a body section 10 and at least four projections 11 to 14, and is laid in a gap between the projected and recessed sections of two members, thereby coupling the members to each other. The body section 10 is made of a metallic plate member and bent like a U-shaped or laterally U-shaped form, and the bottom side BO thereof forms a leading end for insertion. The projections 11 and 12 are respectively formed on both sides a1 and b1 of the section 10 at opposite positions, while the projections 13 and 14 are respectively formed on both opposite folded sides a2 and b2 of the section 10.
