PURPOSE: To provide a piping and wiring unit allowing an easy installation work, and capable of easily coping even with the layout change of a facility for using the utility.

CONSTITUTION: This piping and wiring unit 1 has a long box type easing 3, pipe lines 27, 33 and 37 for gas, water, hot water or the like fitted with quick- coupling joints 31, 35 and 39 at both ends and arranged in the easing 3 along a lengthwise direction, electrical wires 19 and 23 fitted with quick-coupling joints 21 and 23 at both ends and as well arranged in the casing 3 along a lengthwise direction, and piping and electrical wiring connection ports 5, 7, 11, 13 and 15 formed on the surface of the casing 3. When a plurality of the units 1 are connected to each other, the quick-coupling joints or receptacles are connected to each other at the ends of the units for the connection thereof. Furthermore, the surface of the unit 1 has piping connection ports (piping takeout ports) at suitable intervals and, therefore, the utility can be employed at an arbitrary position.
