To provide a novel improved fasteer collation strip wherein, in order to beat a top fastening device into an underlying substrate through a driving hole portion of a fastening device driving tool, a driving member is arranged movably to be engaged with the top fastening device among a plurality of fastening devices in the driving hole portion.
The fasteer collation strip (10) has a pair of rail-engaging members or projections (42, 44) aligned in a vertical direction. The rail-engaging members (42, 44) have side portions (48, 50, 52, 54) arranged, at least in two planes orthogonal to each other, approaching each other so that lower and upper tip end regions (56, 58) of the rail engaging portions or protrusions (42, 44) form a point-type contact. Thus, the fastening device alignment strip (10) is supported movably on a rail member of a magazine portion of the fastening device driving tool.
