To provide an economical sawblade of a long life which inhibits by itself the cutting of a process hardening layer of a material to be processed to reduce the amount of wear of saw teeth tops.
(1) An irregular pitch sawblade 5c constituted to have at least two kinds of saw teeth pitches, wherein the pitch difference between any adjacent pitches among respective pitches ranging from a maximum pitch to a minimum pitch in one group of pitch patterns constituting the irregular pitch is 1.5 times or more.(2) The irregular pitch sawblade 5c described in (1), wherein the saw teeth constituting the one pitch pattern include at least one straight tooth 5 and a plurality of set teeth 5 (L, R) projected in right and left directions, and the pitch of the at least one straight tooth is a maximum pitch.
