To provide a novel feeding container allowing a user to feel the physical sensation of feeding out or feeding back when a solid is fed our or fed back without impairing the basic functions of feeding out or feeding back the solid.

The feeding container includes a cylinder 1 for storing a lipstick L, an inner tray 3 which can advance/retreat inside the cylinder 1 holding the lipstick L stored in the cylinder 1, and a rotary member 4 having a shaft 4a penetrating the inner tray 3 to lift the inner tray 3 by the rotation of a tab 4b attached to the lower end of the shaft 4a. The shaft 4a includes a pawl 5a to be engaged with a rack 2 formed on the inner surface of the cylinder 1, and a locking member 5 which permits rotation of the shaft 4a relative to the cylinder 1 in one direction only. The locking member 5 includes a holding part C which includes a holding surface 5f for holding the shaft 4a. The holding surface 5f is formed of a beam 5b which can be deformed or restored according to the rotation of the shaft 4a.
