To provide a fermentation apparatus which relates to treatment using fermentation reaction of organic waste, or the like, and is high efficiency, and is easily be managed, and to provide its management method.
The fermentation apparatus 1 of this invention stores and stacks material A to be treated on a treatment bed 11 forming a treatment section 110 for an appropriate time period, supplies acting air V from the treatment bed 11 side, and accelerates fermentation of the material A to be treated. The treatment bed 11 is recessed with diffusion troughs 13 at appropriate intervals. Inside the diffusion trough 13 are provided with a diffusion pipe 14 having a plurality of diffusion holes 14a in a trunk part, and an introduction pipe 15 disposed in this diffusion pipe 14. The diffusion pipe 14 other than the diffusion holes 14a is constituted in a state of being shielded from the outside air. The introduction pipe 15 is constituted to be freely selectively supplied with the acting air V and process water L. The diffusion trough 13 is further provided with a drainage mechanism usually maintaining a closed state.
