Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fiber drum, for which components made of different materials can be separated simply from one another for facilitating classified recovery, and to provide a tightening band that enables such fiber drums to be heaped up in a multistage stack.
CONSTITUTION: A fiber drum is composed of a fiber drum main body 2 made of paper in a cylindrical shape, a pair of upper and lower lids 3 and 4, each of which is equipped in projection at its one side with a fitting part for fitting to the inside of an opening of the fiber drum main body 2 while being equipped with a dent at the other side thereof and with a groove to which a part in the vicinity of the opening of the fiber drum main body 2 faces at a position between the peripheral part and an external wall face of the fitting part, and tightening bands 5 and 6 that surround, together with the peripheral part of the lids 3 and 4, the ends of the opening of the fiber drum main body 2 and fix the lids 3 and 4 to the fiber drum main body 2 by tightening the peripheral parts of the lids and the fiber drum main body 2 in the circumferential direction with its inner circumferential face through tightening devices.
