Title:
FIBER-REINFORCED CEMENT MORTAR AND FIBER-REINFORCED CONCRETE COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3240195
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve adhesivity between an org. synthetic fiber and a cement matrix and to improve bending strength of the concrete by compounding an org. synthetic fiber the surface of which is treated with a mixture of surfactant and hydrophilic polymer.
CONSTITUTION: The surfactant to be used is not limited, but nonionic or anionic surfactant such as alkylglucoside, alkali metal salt of alkylphosphate, etc., is excellent. As for the hydrophilic polymer compd., such a compd. is preferable that has ≥5000mol.wt. and can be dissolved or emulsified with single water, mixture with hydrophilic solvent, or mixture with surfactant. For example, polyvinylalcohol is used. The weight ratio of the surfactant to the hydrophilic polymer is 99/1 to 20/80. The coating film is formed by spraying 0.01-4wt.% soln. or suspension of this mixture or by dipping. The org. synthetic fiber used is polyolefin-base polyethylene, etc. The hydraulic compsn. used is normal portland cement or the like and other cement additives may be added.
