Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field winding type synchronous rotary machine system, capable of significantly suppressing an abrupt spike voltage with high frequency generated during the operation of a generator without changing a configuration of a thyristor converter and capable of improving a response to voltage variations of a field winding.SOLUTION: A thyristor converter 2 converts AC power supplied from a three-phase AC power supply 1 into DC power. A field winding type synchronous generator 16 has a field winding 12. A core 3 has a hole 3H therein. Outline lines of a positive polarity and a negative polarity are inserted into the hole 3H, and the thyristor converter 2 and the field winding 12 are electrically connected with each other.
