Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a uniform thick solid electrolyte film inside a solid electrolyte type fuel cell.
SOLUTION: In this solid electrolyte film forming method, slurry of a solid electrolyte material is applied uniformly on an inner circumferential surface of a base tube 10 by moving a slurry supplying pipe 13 to the longitudinal direction of the base tube 10 while rotating the base tube 10 holding it holizontally to supply the slurry 14 of the solid electrolyte material into the base tube through the slurry supplying pipe 13 inserted into the base tube, and then dried by passing hot air into the base tube 10. By this way, a solid electrolyte material layer closely contacted to the inner circumferential surface of the base tube 10 is formed into a uniform thickness, and a uniform solid electrolyte film excellent in closely contacting property to the inner circumferential surface of the base tube 10 is formed finally by baking the solid electrolyte material layer to form the solid electrolyte film on the inner circumferential surface of the base tube 10.
