Title:
OXYGEN-REMOVING RESIN COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3758817
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of positively and efficiently absorbing oxygen by dispersing a deoxidizing agent in a thermoplastic resin mixture having good flexibility and high oxygen penetration coefficient.
SOLUTION: This oxygen-removing resin composition is produced by dispersing (B) a deoxidizing agent composition in (A) a thermoplastic resin mixture containing a thermoplastic elastomer or ethylene-propylene copolymer and having a flexural elastic modulus of ≤600MPa and an oxygen penetration coefficient of ≥130cc.mm/m2.atm.day (23°C, 50% RH). The thermoplastic elastomer in the component A is preferably a styrenic elastomer or an olefinic elastomer. The component B especially preferably contains metal powder as a main agent. The resin composition can easily be processed into sheets, films, etc., not causing problems such as accidental ingestion, has the same oxygen- absorbing rate as that of a deoxidizing agent packed in a small bag, and further enables to expect a two or three-fold oxygen-absorbing capacity that of the conventional oxygen-absorbing agent.
