To provide a film holder capable of being fixed certainly to a paper tube of a roll-form film or the inside surface of its center hole.

The film holder is composed of a stationary drum 1 and a gripping cylinder 3 attached to the outer end 1a of the stationary drum in such a way as rotatable relative to it. The stationary drum is formed in a single piece from a resilient material in such a way that its outside diameter enlarges gradually from the outer end of the stationary drum toward the inner end 1b and that the outside diameter of the drum portion near its inner end is greater than the outside diameter of the gripping cylinder. The stationary drum is equipped with a cut 13 from the inner end of the drum, and a protruding edge is provided at the outer end 3b of the gripping cylinder.
