To provide a film processing apparatus capable of improving print processing caused by misrecognition of frame positions, and to provide a print processing system provided with the film processing apparatus.
In the print processing system 1 provided with: the film processing apparatus including a film processor FP, a film scanner FS, and carrying unit FC; and a print generating apparatus PA for generating photo prints, the film scanner FS is provided with: a preliminary scan execution means 25a; a frame position analysis means 25b for analyzing frame positions; a principal scan execution means 25c for executing principal scan on the basis of a result of the analysis by the frame position analysis means 25b; and a storage section 300 for storing data existing in a prescribed length of a photo film from its tip. The frame position analysis means 25b is characterized in to analyze frame positions of data of the photo film by excluding the data existing in the prescribed length.
