To provide a film processing apparatus capable of conveying a photographic film which is shorter than a predetermined length to a film storage part without stacking it.
The film processing apparatus FA, having a film processor FP, a film scanner FS, and a conveyance unit FC, is equipped with a film length calculating means of calculating the length of a photographic film with a film leader as a guide for conveyance in the film processor and a conveyance path judging unit 70a which at least judges a first conveyance path which includes the conveyance unit FC or second conveyance path which does not includes the conveyance unit FC as a conveyance path for the photographic film based upon the film length calculated by the film length calculating means. A conveyance control unit 70 controls the conveyance of the photographic film according to the judgment result of the conveyance path judging unit 70a.
